Currently having a lot of trouble and experiencing most likely stage 3 af. I can only sleep for 2 hours at a time and I’m wondering how I can get through this. Thanks

First step would be to figure out what’s causing your insomnia. Are you stressed out? Are you drinking coffee before bed? Is there any other reason? See if any of these tips help:
https://adrenalfatiguesolution.com/essential-guide-to-sleep-hygiene/Also, remember that if you feel tired during the day, there’s nothing wrong with taking a nap. Or at least lying down with the lights off and your eyes closed. You might not be in a position to get a full 8 hours of sleep at night, but you should still be trying to rest as much as you can.
Sorry I can’t give you much more advice as your post was quite brief, but I hope this helps!

There are some other supplements like passionflower extract that helps me, also magnesium (Glycinate) before bed can help and I’ve been having some success with Taurine/L-Theanine supplements. Another that I have heard is helpful is PharmaGABA, which helps increase GABA levels in the brain, low GABA can lead to a jittery, hyped up feeling.

Your quality of sleep with melatonin is not as good as it otherwise would be, and most people tend not to dream when they take it. It’s great for jet lag or when you’re really struggling to get to sleep consistently, but my experience is that lowering stress levels and rebalancing hormones is a better long term solution.

I feel like I get caught in a loop, lack of sleep makes me have to push myself harder to get through the day, and I end up more stressed and exhausted, then can’t sleep and around we go. I used the Taurine/L-Theanine/inositol again last night, promotes GABA conversion and lowers glutamate, seems to be helping so far.
