I have read that adrenal fatigue can affect blood vessels and that a person can have abnormally constricted blood vessels in the inner ear, causing ringing. Does any one know of how I can get some relief from tinnitus? Ginko biloba doesn’t seem to help me, and I take magnesium regularly for restless legs.

But high blood pressure can also make the symptoms worse. Have you been under significant stress since (or before) it started? Do you drink lots of coffee or alcohol? All those things can contribute.

I’ve asked my doctor and he has no answers, he suffers from it as well he said. It’s become worse as time goes on as I don’t sleep at all well, and haven’t for years, that adds to body stress as we know. Thanks though, I appreciate your reply.
February 4, 2017 at 1:30 pm #10368AnnabelKeymasterHave you thought about why you’re not sleeping? Fawne put together an amazing sleep hygiene article – https://adrenalfatiguesolution.com/essential-guide-to-sleep-hygiene/.
Have you tried strategies like meditation or deep breathing? Have you given up coffee, or at least switched to something like green tea or matcha? Have you cut down (or eliminated) alcohol?
Let us know what you’ve tried, maybe there’s something you’ve missed that we can help with 🙂

I’ve worked on B6, zinc/copper balancing and added tyrosine to my supplements and have had an improvement. I have pyroluria which prevents absorption of B6 and zinc, and also overloads the adrenals causing problems for NT synthesis.

The tinnitus doesn’t seem to have changed though. I just purchased Fawne’s ebook and will get into it hugely. I do my best to breathe well, only drink decaf (coffee & tea) and only one of each daily. A glass of wine is about it and that’s about once a week (or not at all). I’m trying everything to recover from fibro, AF and tinnitus. Fibro is a sleep disorder due to stress and it’s a miserable cycle that a person gets into – not sleeping well and therefore no real recovery because sleep is necessary for that repair time.
BenP, I had to look up pyroluria as I hadn’t heard of it. As for the link, wow, that’s interesting. As for the “gatekeeping areas” fibro is chronic pain and I’ve been dealing with it since about 1995 (I’m not as bad off as some people but it’s still there daily and sometimes nightly it keeps me awake). Fibromyalgia is a neurotransmitter problem so I’m going to follow up on what you’ve written. It gives me hope 🙂
Thanks so much you guys.
