Hi everyone,
I’m new around here. Been dealing with adrenal issues for 17 years. I’m 47. Up and down over the years. Sometimes as bad to be housebound. Recently worked full time for five years. So, I was doing okay.
Recently found out I’m definitely in menopause. FSH and LH numbers super high, no periods.
I can’t believe how bad I’ve been feeling. Does anyone have experience with this? I have terrible flu like pains (esp in shoulders and lower back), malaise, stomach upset and fatigue.
We upped my hormones and I felt better pretty quickly. I thought I was doing okay. But for the last week, I’m so sick as I describe above. (It’s not something acute.)
I should say, I see one of the best doctors (an MD) in the country (US) for adrenal fatigue and related conditions. So, I have good treatments typically, just trying to figure out if others experience this bad of adrenal fallout from menopause?
It sure does make everything worse. Try to find a Dr. or Good PA that will test your hormones all and get your own compound pharmacy to make escpeically for you! We are all different.
Do you find yourself constantly fatigued, and struggling to get out of bed in the mornings? Do you feel unable to cope with stressful situations? If so, you might be suffering from Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome.
