I have discovered a few lists of symptoms for Adrenal Fatigue and find I have so many of them I lost count. I saw, on this website, that a heightened sense of smell is one of them. Boy, do I ever! I even taste things I smell. It’s fine if what I’m smelling is a cinnamon roll! But most of what I smell is exhaust fumes, chemicals and the like. Yuck!
The other weird symptom is being easily startled. That started a few months ago. Out of the blue, I’d jump if someone approached me and said something, even a quiet hello. I thought it was weird, and couldn’t figure out why it was happening, but now I can associate it with this dumb condition.
But of all of the symptoms, being tired ALL the time is by far the most aggravating. Also, the “mystery episodes” I had before coming to the conclusion I had AF were frightening. I’ve had five such attacks, and don’t ever want those again. I would be bed ridden, didn’t want to move, couldn’t stand any sound, and light, any smell, felt extremely nauseous, and would have just laid there even if the house had started on fire. No way I could have/would have moved.I would have prefered to die over feeling like that.
So now it’s way past time to kick this condition to the curb completely. I can’t wait for my appt with the Naturopathic doctor that specializes in this condition. The bummer is that the healing takes so long…
I wish you all good luck in your healing.
